In 2006, DVL was established as the first batch of seed fund project enterprises of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Over the years, DVL has been committed to the research and development, production and sales of intelligent high-end medical equipment with minimally invasive surgery as the core, and has undertaken many national and provincial scientific research projects. . In 2015, the first medical minimally invasive engineering research center was established with the approval of the National Development and Reform Commission. In 2016, it was approved to set up an academician workstation together with Yang Shanlin, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
At present, it has established joint laboratories and industry-university-research centers with many domestic and foreign institutions of higher learning, such as the University of Groningen, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai Jiaotong University, University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei University of Technology, Anhui Medical University, etc. The research and development products have won many national key points. The title of new product is listed in the special reserve catalogue of emergency materials of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The product won the first prize of the National Ministry of Education, the first prize of the Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award and the 2020 World Internet Conference Leading Scientific and Technological Achievement Award.
DVL actively responds to national policies such as the Belt and Road Initiative, military-civilian integration, and medical-industrial crossover. The products have been equipped with medical institutions at all levels such as 301 Hospital, Union Hospital, Shanghai Jiaotong University Affiliated Hospital, Anhui Medical University Affiliated Hospital, and the aircraft carrier "Liaoning". Medical cabins, Yun-20 air police hospitals, etc., and have been exported to more than 40 countries and regions.
DVL has always been committed to the road of domestic original research and independent innovation. It has more than 200 patents including a number of international patents. Many products have won the first set of products at the national and provincial levels, and was included in the first batch of "Three First Products" government procurement platforms of the Anhui Provincial Department of Finance.
